Journey to Kedah earth [part 2] The Inner Layer

At last a sequel of Journey to Kedah earth Part 1 is here after a long "movie" break :D. Remember that Part 1 was more on the environment around my Kampung house?? Now, Part 2 will be focusing on my holiday life over there.

Life over there is simple. You eat, relax and sleep. That's all XD

However, sleeping was a problem for me because I was too full to sleep @_@.

Besides that, when I was trying to sleep, family members were relaxing watching TV at the living hall near my bed room and the sound from TV was quite loud.. (I'm a person who need a very very quiet and comfortable environment in order to sleep well) So, the "sleeping life" over there was quite bad XD

The temperature in Kedah is hot and dry everyday...

The next day, I went to the nearest shopping centre(forgot its name) which is not very near actually(approximately 30+ minutes driving in order to reach that place...) It is quite huge for a shopping mall in a town. I bought "Detective Conan" comic book from the Popular bookshop over there. Since, I was so bored, i drawed this referring to that comic book XD..

Before I drew this picture, I was finding a sharpener but I couldn't find one.. So, I decided to sharp the pencil with a blade which was my first time doing such "dangerous stunt"^^ Luckily non of my fingers were hurt in the process :P
They were perfectly fine and sharp~

Before I end the story of The Journey to Kedah earth, I would like to show some photos I snapped from there:
First of all, the rarest Panda in Kedah! The Panda.. err Panda Dog?

My cousin brother.. Do you dare to SUMO with him? He is only studying in primary school but weights about 70-80kg....

The most "high-tech" PC which I found here XD --- I can't even switch it on.. and the mouse was gone @_@ Eaten by a kampung cat maybe.

In conclusion to Part 1 and Part 2, I had a great time at my Kampung house. It is a great place to take a break from a hectic and busy life in the city. I can stay away from my PC screen for a few days which gives me a more healthy lifestyle temporary XD Well, that's all for The Journey of Kedah earth, THANK YOU FELLOW READERS for supporting!

假期过得很有意义

上两三个星期都是假期，可是我在这段时间学了很多课本上学不了的学问！
很多都是我人生中的第一次，如：
第一次驾车到陌生的地方---Cheras
可是第一次也走错了路-。-幸好最后还是到达了目的地---也第一次壮了胆问路人！！！独自一个人驾车好恐怖！！！走错了路，心也开始慌了，车也驾得有点危险。。。
不知不觉下远离了目的地-。-

整个心都慌了

第一次搭地铁到我以前都没去过的地方---Maluri, Cheras
还坐错了火车到了别一个站，可是最后也到达了目的地。这不比驾车走错了恐怖，因为火车不是我驾的^^

第一次搭巴士从Cheras回家，还有一次也是第一次没给车票乘了免费“顺风巴车”回家。。。想起来。。我也觉得满刺激的^^这门功夫都是顺育环境认识的姐姐们“教”的哈哈。。。
第一次自动自发地向人家握手，谈天及打招呼---女生都应该没什么大碍了

第一次学会了自己买衣服，也第一次穿上了牛仔裤---不要麻烦了~ 牛仔很忙的

如一位年轻创了业的麒全大哥所说的：学习不惜代价。。。不管下雨，大雷或下刀，都要出来学习。

我的朋友巧湘姐也说了：出门外学习才会成长，打开心门才会成功。
然后，这句：不是你能不能，而是你要不要！（忘了谁讲的。。真是抱歉）在我心里留下了很深刻的印象。
这些名句我自己都体会到了。。虽然我所学到的可能都不是大家的第一次，可是我觉得这个假期里，我真的学到了很多！真的比一批布还长！
在停笔之前，我要感谢带我到顺育环境的贵人---Melvin及那里的兄弟姐妹们。我还要感谢不断在选衣服方面给指点的好朋友---Jason。没了他，我可能还在穿着像阿伯的衣了 XD。最后，我希望能带到更多的朋友一起来学习！

近牌迷上了恐怖游戏 - Left4Dead

It's not my nature to play games that are scary or terror such as Resident Evil or Silent Hill. However, now I would like to recommend my fellow blog readers Left4Dead.
The first time I'd played this game was in Garena or GG client after coming back from TimeSquare for Quarantine. My cousin invited me to go so, i followed.. or else I won't go for that movie anywhere, anytime and anyway XD

VERSUS

Left4Dead has some similarities compared to Quarantine:
Both view are FPV (First Person View) - Quarantine didn't make me feel sick like Cloverfield eventhough it is FPV but it is more exciting.
Both Infected got disease similar to rabies or penyakit anjing gila.
The zombies are fast. Zombies in Quarantine are still having the old fashioned zombies' genre which is to bite every non-zombies human. However, zombies in L4D are only designed to kill survivors by punching, kicking or clawing. No biting here XD which makes it less terrorizing! The zombies here are cooperative as a team except a unit called Tank. (The most powerful one)

Some freaking information of the Infected:
The "Infected" are the Survivors' foes in Left 4 Dead, and they appear to be partly inspired by the infected from several modern films, including 28 Days Later. The Common Infected encountered during the game are fast and agile, weak individually, but may be overwhelming in numbers. They occasionally attack en masse, referred to in game as a "Horde".
In addition to the Common Infected, there are five "Boss Infected" whose mutations grant them special attacks that make them much more dangerous:
the Hunter, an agile Infected that can pounce on Survivors from a great distance;
the Smoker, an Infected that ensnares Survivors with its long tongue at a distance and, upon death, releases a cloud of smoke;
the Boomer, a bloated Infected whose vomit and bile blind the player and attract the Horde;
the Tank, a huge, muscular Infected that is the most powerful and difficult to kill;
and the Witch, a passive Infected that, when provoked by a loud sound, light, gunshots, or a Survivor approaching too close to her, will attack her provoker.
The victims of some of these attacks require assistance from a teammate before they can regain control. Each of the Boss Infected, as well as approaching Hordes, have a distinctive sound or a timely musical cue, making their presence easily recognizable by players.

I finished the game by LAN on GG client and it is still worth to be replayed as everything will be random. For example, the Infected and items excluding weapons will be spawned at different places. Besides that, there's a VS mode where players can play as the Survivors or 1 of the Boss Infected units except the Witch. Playing as an Infected is hell lot of fun!!

Journey to the Kedah earth [Part 1] The outer layer

I went back to my hometown at Kuala Ketil Indah, K.Ketil, Kedah last month. This time, it is different because I was armed with a camera! :D However, all of the pictures were only taken around my kampung house. Did i just say kampung house?(because we usually "balik kampung")

First of all, here's a picture of my luxury kampung bungalow houses.

This Taman is still developing as some of the houses are not finished yet.

At the first night, some"one" err.. actually something welcomed us here. A moth stopped at my bro's shirt near the collar which made it look like a decoration or a badge.

The life here is leisure, carefree and relax~

However, it is quite boring too XD So, I decided to take my cousin's camera and start a snapping-spree around this area. (My camera is 3Mpixel so I used hers which is 7Mpixel instead of mine XD)

The first thing to drag my attention was this Yam Tree.

but then, I came over this!! It's a gigantic man eating plant!!! (Just a larger version of the small Yam Tree >.<) Maybe I'm just a Kampung Boy from KL who never see such plant before...

I think it just ate somebody anyway... Notice about that slipper over there at the bottom right?

Well... look what I'd found here within the Giant Yam Tree! A reminder post in my kampung house garden!! I'm not sure where did they got it from but that's kinda cool @_@

The story of Dengue Boy [Finale] Battle with Dengue virus

Continue from Part 1, I went home and watched my bro playing his MMO but I felt unusually extremely tired. I thought it may be due to the intensive CCNA module 1 course of a week ago, so I decided to take a nap. ZZZZ... When I woke up, I felt more tired than before I sleep =.=. Besides that, I was very HOT! in terms of body temperature haha.. OH MAN~ I was sick and not knowing I was actually infected by the Dengue virus! I took 2 paracetamol or penadol(penidur?) and went to bed early.
Day 2 - I woke up and felt more tired compared to yesterday. I could barely open my eyes as they were burning =.= I couldn't do what I do best which is sitting in front of my PC for hours due to the tiredness. I could only sit on a chair like an old man waiting for the Soul Reaper to claim his soul.

At night, I got worst and so, I went to the doctor. He gave me some medicines to cure normal fever and he told me if this fever prevailed for more than 3 days, it might be Dengue fever. OMFG!!! Of course I hoped that it wouldn't happen!
Day 3 - It was getting worst day by day. The fever was playing tricks with me! It was gone sometime and then it returned =.=
Day 4/Day 5 - The fever persisted. So, I went to the clinic where my aunt works as a nurse there. The doctor suspected Dengue and decided to do a blood test. I'm lucky not having phobia with needles but it was still painful T_T In the evening, the result was... I had HIV!!! Nah.. that was a joke haha :P From the blood test result, my platelet count got low low low low low low(not Shawty with the fur).... The next day, I went for a blood test again and my platelet count was still plunging. So, the doctor told me to visit the hospital.

OMG this is getting serious right?

The next day, I went to Selayang Hospital for a blood test. It was not a pleasure experience waiting for the result there >.<>That sucked! And for the next day, my platelet count decreased again and this time, I was admitted to the hospital~This is the first time I had to be sent to a ward X^P

My hand was pierced with a needle with a host in order for the natrium chloride fluid to flow into my body >.<

It was very inconvenience to move my left hand with that thing around. It sucks!!

Now, the life in the hospital:

Blood test everyday until I'm immunised to needles =.=

Drink alot of 100 plus + water everyday. This is very important in order to survive from Dengue virus. I got 100plus phobia after this XDGo to toilet alot everyday...Lie on bed everyday...

Think "bukan-bukan" things everyday... For example, 护士春光 maybe because of lack of tfk those few days... @_@ juz kidding here lol

The food is quite good there and the environment of the hotel err.. I mean the hospital does look like a hotel XD Red carpet + beds + toilets in 1 room :D After 3 long days and 2 nights, I can finally go home! WEEEE~ I missed my PC very much! @_@ Man, I'm relieved not being killed by Dengue virus because I still have alot of new things to do in the future!!

Before I end, here are some important reminder from me:

Go to the doctor when you are sick.

Drink alot of water if you got Dengue because it will help you to recover faster seriously! I hope that you won't get it in your life anyway.

Tired of waiting a file to be downloaded completely but slowly by a torrent client?

Now let me introduce you a website that downloads desired torrent files for you and let you to download the files with a direct connection instead of p2p.

You must be wondering isnt it is used for photos or pictures hosting? However, now it introduces a new feature (still in BETA) which is named as "torrent drive".

It acts like this:

The imageshack server will do the torrent download for you and store the file on its server storage. Then, you can direct download the file from the server storage when that downloaded file is completed on the server side.

I tried this so called "torrent drive" feature as a free user and it gives me:
1. 5GB of torrent file storage on server side
2. 500kbps of max download speed (might be more)
3. 10GB of bandwidth for direct download
4. 2 simultaneous torrent downloads at once. However, it still works on a ticket based system. For example, you as a free user need to compete with other free and premium users to get a download ticket or slot to in order begin your downloads on the server side. A ticket or slot will be released when a download of yours or other users is completed. Man this sucks... Well, that's what free stuff can offer XD
5. I got a direct download speed of 160kBps :D

Overall, this is a very useful feature for us in Malaysia because it seems that torrent downloads dont work fine with Streamyx! XD Well, I recommend you to use this "torrent drive" instead of your torrent client to maximize your Streamyx bandwidth usage. Anyway, ROX for providing such feature for free!!!

The story of Dengue boy [part 1] - Before Dengue

21st of Oct, the final day of CCNA module 1, also the birthday of my classmate Steven. After the final exam (CCNA) and some blurish discussion, we decided to celebrate his birthday at SunWong restaurant which is located at the opposite of UTAR PA block.

What's all that advertisement anyway -.- Let's continue with the story shall we?
Since this is the 1st time I've been here, "accident" happened.

The infamous ACCIDENT:
1. I've ordered "Chicken Chop spagetti". The cook cooked "Chicken Chop rice". Maybe the waiter heard i called 要饭("yiu fan" - mau nasi in cantonese) instead of 意分("yi fan" - spaghetti in cantonese)...
2. My friend was mistaken and took the CC rice (which technically suppose to be mine) for his rice. I was not aware of tat.
3. Then, his rice came and I didnt know bout it at all. Felt sorry for the waiter >.<>

真是惭愧。。。等到肚子都饿匾了。。。

So, i waited longer (total waiting time = about one or two hours) and finally i still got my CC rice instead of spaghetti =.= Did I really spoke that soft?

I was kinda full after finish eating the plate of rice.

Now, whats for dessert? Steven's birthday cake!

见了都留口水！

蛋糕吃完了，大家就收档回家了！说了声再见，大家就急速闪人了。。闪得还真快。。 XD

Everyone seems to be missing their home very much XD Well... its what they say home sweet home :D

I reached home and felt very tired due to the 1 week rushy CCNA course. So, I decided to take a nap. When I woke up, the nightmare began... I saw only bright light around me and heard some people talkin beside me... "He is no longer needed here on earth" OMG? Im not DEAD!! Haha all those are just pure fiction.. However, a problem still arise, i got a fever actually and its no ordinary fever!!! Hence, the Dengue Boy story begins...

Oh My God!! 要改改BlogspotのLayout还不容易！搞了大半天还是搞不好。。结果还把之前的Layout搞丢了。。。唉。。真是衰！
怎么突然要改Layout呢?
见到友人のBlog都被布置得美美的。我也要~
可是，
开始时。。。。。几分钟后。。。。

弄是弄得到了，不过是走样的。。所以就把它弄回原来的模样，可是没想到的事情竟然发生了。。我的久Layout竟然没Backup起来。。
唉。。就只好重新调整过了。。。
现在的布置是不是不同了？应为不知道为什么用回一样的Template，但却给了我不一样的Layout。。。不过这个新的布置也不错吧！
希望有高人帮帮我整整个漂亮的Layout啊~

换一换新格式 / Changing to a different format

好久都没有update这个部落了，难得今天有空就趁机添加一些内容。
大家应该都发现到我平时所写的“鸡肠”都变了华语。不过，我也不会把“鸡肠”给遗弃了，因为它可是国际语言！不然的话。。我可就不能跟"香蕉"(不会读华语的人)一起分享故事了。。。
不过我的英文可不能写得像pro一样生动。。。

所以，究竟是什么新格式？
我打算把我想写的东西都画成图片再加上一些文字就应该可以比之前的post跟精彩！

我动了动小脑筋，竟然被我想出了一个不可思议的解释。
After some thinking, I figured out an explanation for the picture above in the digital system way.

It is illustrated as below:

So for a picture which normally size around kilobytes, it will be separated to more than thousands of word or word size before it is transferred to the processor. Therefore, a picture worth a thousand words.. XD
Not bad from a tiny brain eh? :D

Sunway Lagoon!!! Second relaxing moment after the final exams ^^

First relaxing moment was playing CoD4 for 3 hours at INC cafe on Thursday right after the exam. (Stated in the previous post if you can remember) After that, on Saturday, 20th September 2008, I went to Sunway Lagoon with some classmates(only 1 un-available lady T_T + others.. BATANG...).
Note: The funny serious game(NOT SERIOUS SAM) will be added in the next post because this post will be much more interesting!

So what's so interesting?
Sunway Lagoon theme park + extreme park = exciting and interesting!!!
Boooring.. We also know lar -.-
Okay la.. First of all I'd gained new experience from this trip. I'd tried shooting static targets with a real gun!! Ops, just kidding :D It is just the paint ball gun actually =.= Haha actual aiming seems harder than aiming in the game CoD4... However, I did managed to shoot at some targets with 70% misses...
Secondly, I'd rode a ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) which looks like a motorbike with 4 wheels. However, we press a trigger near the right handle instead of control the handle in order to move the vehicle. It is very shaky when I pressed the trigger and after a few seconds, my palm felt numb or like ants moving around my palm...
(Haha I hope that I was riding this)

Then, I learned how to kayak!! It's not how to apply kaya on bread but how to move and control a canoe~ w00t!!! At the first few moment, my friend and I(2 N00Bs) were completely lost in kayaking and both of us were left behind by other friends T_T.. We paddled to some dirty surfaced water and almost hit the wall once. After a few minutes, we managed to pick up the pace and started to kayak for REAL. I realised that kayak is quite simple and the most important thing is I'd learned to control 2 transportation [ATV+kayak(a transport?)] now!

(This canoe ROX but not available at Sunway. Anyway it is pointless to have this because the water in Sunway is green + non-transparent =.=)

(Haha no shark in the lake... Longkang fish got lar..)

Finally, the FireFox! Ops I meant Flying Fox... Wow! This was the most exciting thing I'd did during this trip. I was afraid standing on the launching platform at first but after launching, it felt good and scary at the same time. By the way, I was the last to launch after all of my classmates. (haihz kena bully T_T) This made the fear factor level increased...

Eh, only exciting? Where's the interesting part?
Now, it is the best part of the whole trip and the most interesting of all!!! There is a water slide near the beach ball and wall climbing area. I'd tried it and decided not to try it again because my butt hurts after sliding to the bottom even though there is water... So, I waited my friends to slide down and then, I noticed a beautiful lady in bikini preparing to slide down after his boy friend(I wished that's me but I just have to accept reality XD). I was wondering that will her bikini deflect due to impact with water when she slides down(naughty me :P). Before I made my next thought, she was already down in the pool and when she stood up! Poof it became cococrunch!?? (What the? Advertisement?) OMG!!! I saw something that I can only see in A-Vids.. Her bikini deflected and I saw her 露点 ("lou dim" in cantonese)!!! Anyway, it was an accident and I only looked for a few seconds because I never thought that it will really happen... One of my friend did enjoyed the whole moment from the beginning until her boyfriend fixed her bikini position. w000t sYok lar him XD Out of all CN Spartans, only 2 from Kepong saw this hyper rare incident(in my life lar). So, maybe this is what I call Kepong luck ^^
At home, i'd decided to change my nick in MSN to be related to this incident and the results were.. some perverts, i mean friends.. asked about the incident. The most common questions they asked was: Pretty anot? Big anot? even though i told them that I saw a leng lui(then pretty lor..) 露点. haha no offense to you guys ya. PEACE :P
**Sorry no photos on this one because nobody brings a camera during swimming time right? Since I'm so lucky, maybe you might wanna sponsor me an water-proofed camera so I can take some goodies for you in the next trip XD

Okay, that's all the interesting events. I was tired, tanned and pok gai.. However, I did a lot of stuff I didn't do before and I saw stuff I didn't have to chance to see in LIVE for now! I'm satisfied with this trip and I wonder will the couple had their "night war or night activity" before bed since his boy friend was stimulated by her exposure :P Arg.. better don't think so much or else I will be having insomia again tonight >.< Good night!

The WAR (Final Exams) has ENDED!!!! Is it? Yes it is!!!! OMGBBQ!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Ops sorry for the title in overstressed mode... It is common when an extra hyper stressful person releases his/her stress in one shot. It's like when we charge up gases in our butt and then release those gases in one blow = BBOOMMM!! Awww Man... I can't imagine what will happen to your hole after this... From tight become loose @_@ (Don't think till 18SX there har)? We might not control the amount of cakes to be released in the toilet??!! OMFGBBQ >.<

Okay enough of stressful thoughts!!! (Slapped my face a hundred times)

Now lets PARTAY!!!~~
Went to INC Cyber Cafe straight right after the last paper =.= (I hope I have such determination in studies...) Who cares about studies now? It's the holiday I'm concern now~

After some deep thinking for about 5 seconds?(My brain too noob... Can't do deep thinking more than 5 seconds >.<), it seems that... I have no more target in life after this final exams... (This happens everytime after a final exams). Why? Coz previously, my primary target was to study for the exams. However, for now.. the target was accomplished. So.. what's my next life target now?

After another not so-deep-thinking, it is GAMING~~~ w00t MY FAVOURITE!!! There goes my 3 months sem break =D Okay, I will stop typing now and continue with my Granado Espada adventure. I will write about a buggy game in the next post. It is a serious game with a funny attitude =X Stay Tune :D

After a long pause in blogging due to "shits" (ops i mean tests and practicals) >.<, at last i've got the time to update my blog because I got myself a full day holiday from Java and OS (Oh Shit?) assignments for today, Saturday 23 August 2008. ^^
Now, let me review last week's life. Last week was the worst Dooms Week since Year 1 Sem 1! Why? I had assignments + tests + practicals + presentations (JComboBox! WTF? Java too much =.= This is what I call Combo Horde!). Everyone was overstressed during the last week including me. The most pek chek one would be Java assignment now = = ||| WHAT A SCARY WEEK!!!... B4 that let me relax by playing this game XD

Last Friday-Sunday (1st Aug-3rd Aug), PC fair, i was working as a gaming consoles promoter for A1Plus in that huge event located in KLCC.

It was not as fun as i imagined =.=

First of all, the booth I was working in seems to be "leeching" the Logitech booth area (A1Plus's booth selling Logitech mouses, keyboards and other stuffs.) So, there was only little spaces for workers to move around in it due to a lot of products were taking most of the area zzz...

Secondly, some of the gaming consoles (PSP and NDS) I'm promoting didn't come in a set fit in a box. So, my friend and I had to squeeze in that small area in order to "hunt" the whole set of PSP/NDS from different boxes for our customers. Luckily, PS3, PS2 and Wii came in a box.... Or else, I can't imagine how tiring in order to find all those controllers, consoles bla bla from all the different boxes!!! Working with Logitech seems to be better XD..

Thirdly, A1Plus only provided us 1 meal per day zzz.. Kedekut sial! Then, the pay is not high compared to other company >.< me =".="">.< Beh TAHAN!

However, I did gain a lot of working experiences during work. Besides that, I met with new friends and got to approach leng lui in person (for promotion purpose. I hope it was for other purposes. e.g: She wanna "kao" me XP)

Im having bad luck recently?

ARGHH!!! DAMN IT!! I'm having bad luck recently! Why do I say so?
First of all, my external hard disk malfunctioned... I just took it to LowYat for warranty. It was bought in April 2008 during PC fair and it malfunctioned in July which is 3 months after that.. =.= Secondly, my 2G PenDrive Mini was killed by short circuit when I was using my friend's PC T_T... I can't get warranty for it because my dad kept the receipt and lost it zzz... Man.. what a dog life... Luckily, I bought a 4G Sandisk Cruzer Micro as a backup not long before it died.. However, 4G is meant to be used as a backup so, I'll have to get another 2G or 4G as a spare pendrive or else no pendrive for me when my Dad took mine to work =.= (I haven't work but I wasted and will be wasting more money) SIGH~~~ How can I escape from bad luck? I hope things will get better T_T

Very very busy with assignments and tests recently. That's why i didn't update my blog for quite a while.. Now, let me update all of you with a new PC game. ^^

This game ROCKS to the MAX!!! Devil May Cry 4 is a 3rd person action game which was initially released for PS3. After months, it was released for PCs w00t!!
I am a fan of DMC and I love this game very much. I played its previous games which were DMC 2 & DMC 3 without playing the first game xP but still, DMC 4 is the coolest of all as I have expected. However, the initial main character is not my favourite Dante(main character of DMC1-DMC3) anymore but Nero who is a young human with a demonic arm. Nah.. that's not the problem anyway :D because I'm still enjoying the game. I even bought a RM29 chapalang gamepad(not bad to play with) because of this game XD A photo will be taken in the near future because i don't have batteries currently...

Cool right? I can't play with super high quality with my rig T_T but its graphic can be considered as good with low quality running on my PC. Sigh.. I hope I got a better rig to play this with at least high quality.....

An Antique Video was found in my PC!!!

After so long, I did not even remember the video's existence but on 2nd of July 2008, while I'm searching for movies(You know what type of movies lar hehe), I found something! Something that is memorable and valueble. It is the video of UTAR Foundation Program Drama Competition Award Winning Drama presented by my groupmates and me!!!
Haha just wanna show off a little. I was the best actor for that competition ;P

After finished playing the story mode of Call of Duty 4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 not long ago, I'm still not done with the FPS fever!!! Man, I just love the storyline and actions of those games! So, I decided to make my real human version FPS static scene =.= I think I'm seriously gone madness with FPS recently... Tons of assignments are reaching their deadlines and I'm still playing around fooling with these stuffs zzz... Overstressed nia!!

After a tiring morning of playing basketball (Almost died because didn't execute strong exercises for some time - half year) , then I went to Food Stall to have a drink. However, I did not order any food from there. XD

I have tried it during Firefox 3 Download Day, 17th June 2008, right after I downloaded its installer in the UTAR's PC LAB(Damn slow u know -.-)...

1st impression:
Ei? It looks almost the same.. With just a little bit of changes in the interface -.- And then,
Wow!!! It loads a webpage with a satisfying speed in the PC LAB!!!
It loads search results of google images not 1 by 1 but a WHOLE SCREEN in less then 3 seconds which is VERY RARE in our lab... COOOL~

Drawbacks:
Some addons cannot be used in the newer version. (The only drawbacks for me currently)
My favourite Mouse Gestures addon T_T - Now being replaced by a compatible and similar Fire Gesture.

2day in the UTAR FICT PC LAB, something INTERESTING happened!! All PCs were forced to shutdown. I mean ALL! It happened because one of the staff tripped over some wires and loosen the wires.

Nah.. That's not interesting at all..

This is what i call INTERESTING:

One of my friend, Niv Lee, shown me how to remote access his laptop at home from lab with LogMeIn Remote Control service(similar to RealVNC software).
LogMeIn, sounds familiar? It is the company which creates Hamachi - a VPN(Virtual Private Network) software.

This Remote Control(RC) service is easy to use with its user friendly graphical interface. No annoying port forwarding process is needed. Basically, you can just install it and use it ASAP after installation...

Ok Ok.. Let me start now, it was our 1 hour class break so we went to UTAR's lab. Then, Niv decided to remote control his laptop to continue his torrent download progress and to open a new downloaded movie. It was a success in opening the movie but the movie was running in a bad pixelate form... Niv thought that his housemate was not at home during that time but he was wrong.. At his house, his housemate was shocked when Niv's laptop behind opened up real player and played the movie with SOUND by itself!! His housemate thought that he met with evil spirits in a conversion with Niv in MSN. We had a great laugh in lab after this incident.

C.S.I - My toe was found guilty?!

My fellow readers, I have a tale to tell ^^ Last last Saturday/Sunday, 31 May/1st June 2008, I was cutting my toe nails. When I was cutting my "thumb toe"s nail(I'm not sure what should I call it >.<). Something happened and it might surprise all of you. The victim: (My Nail Cutter made in Korea)

The suspect: (My THUMB toe made in Malaysia>.<)

What happened?:
I pressed the nail cutter but it could only cut my nail to the minimal(cant even crack the nail's surface =.=). Then, a battle between Mr.Nail and nail cutter occurred in flashes out of sudden. The nail cutter slipped from my fingers and "cling clang" (the sound of metal clashes on the marble floor). I said to myself, "Hell Yeah! Mr.Nail should be terminated by now! w00t!". However, it was still on top of my toe with some battle scars without suffering from any serious wounds. WTF? Then, what was all the noise's about? So, I looked around and found out the nail cutter was DEAD!!! It was shredded into pieces as you can see on top T_T

Conclusion:
Since it killed the nail cutter, I have to put Mr.Toe behind the bars until it turns tame and good. XD However, Mr.Nail was executed by a new nail cutter from Korea under the law of assistance in murder.
Finally, DO NOT MESS WITH MY TOES ESPECIALLY MR. THUMB TOE!!!

Maintaining ur PC

Computer is slowing down such as a snail? Madness Lagness? Looks like its time to reformat the HardDisk!!!! Everything will be fine after a fresh format, correct?^^ However, y dont u maintain ur comp instead of reformat it each time some problems occurred? Before I start, I would like to inform u bout this common myth. (juz found out from Google)
Formatting Hard Drive Myths part 1
Formatting the hard drive of the PC will not diminish its lifespan. It was said that formatting is the most commonly myth to reduce the hard disk’s lifespan.
Formatting is not a hectic job for your hard disks because the read and write heads of the hard disk do not make contact to the platter surface. Platter may only be damaged once there it as strike during the operation.
In contrast, it is allowed to format the hard drive approximately twenty times a day the whole year and it will not likely to fail compare to a hard drive that hasn’t formatted at all.

Although formatting ur HD constantly wont affect ur HD lifespan much, but the process is time consuming depending on ur HD size. Then, u have to reinstall ur OS such as Windows XP or Vista and after tat, u have to reinstall graphic card drivers or other drivers and finally, games (my favourite ^^) So, i will write about a maintainance software called TuneUp Utilities 2008 (get the trial version for 30 days).

TuneUp 1-Click-Maintainance
Firstly, for those lazy ppl like me who dun wana explore tis useful software. U can juz klik on the shortcut icon which looks like the following picture in order to maintain ur comp quickly and automatically. It contains most of the important maintainance options in TuneUp2008.

Increase Performance
The most important options in TuneUp 2008 that helps ur PC to perform better and faster. I like TuneUp System Optimizer most since it helps u to optimize ur internet surfing speed and ur system performance. It has more useful options which is shown in the following picture.

Then, Free up disk space is another useful option that clean up ur PC from rubbish data(files that not used for a long time or temporary files of IE).
Customize Windows
Erm.. This is colorful, beautiful but not useful XD. U can change ur boot screen, ur login screen or ur desktop icons according to ur preferences.

Finally, the Additional tools, some viruses block ur access to the task manager when u wana Kill those viruses process. Now, u can use TuneUp Process Manager to kick their aSses(this is juz a temporary solution becoz some viruses might juz respawn after each kill -.-).
TuneUpShredder makes sure that all the files u delete are not recoverable. It is integrated with Recycle Bin if u enable the option during the installation.

I have used this software since TuneUp 2007 when my friend Edwin recommended me. I did not format my PC since then which is almost a year from now ^^ I cant remember my last formatting process or maybe i did not format my PC since i bought it. B4 i end, i would like to share my current PC defenders:

Money transferred from Public Bank to Alertpay

On 4th of May 2008, I made a brave move. I decided to transfer some $$ from my Public Bank account to Alertpay account ^^ How much I played with? RM172 which is a big amount.
Alertpay states that fund transferred will be added into alertpay account within 3-5 days. However, i waited more than a week becoz i didnt add my reference number in the transaction form zZz (I dunno where to put ler). I began to panic... So, i decided to email them regarding to my problem. Walao eh... They damn busy ler? They replied me after almost 2 weeks =,= The customer support staff told me to send a copy of the transaction as payment proof. So, I scanned my 1st page of PBbank book and took a transaction screenshot and send it back to him. I LOVE MY SCANNER VERY MUCH^^

It helped me in verifying my Alertpay account also XD
Then after 3 days which was yesterday, 24th May, they added RM172-RM15(processing fees. EXPENSIVE!)=RM157 into my Alertpay account.

Pic Lens - homepage
It is not designed for Firefox only. Some other IBs such as IE can support this addons too. It is very cool to be used in viewing alot of pictures. Here's a video describing it.

ColorfulTabs
It is colorful, beautiful but not really useful XD. Here's a screenshot of it. I guess u knew where r those tabs right >.<..

FasterFox
Remember the steps i wrote previously to speed up the surfing speed of firefox? This addon does the same! It speeds up ur surfing speed too.

Mouse Gestures
My favourite! It allows you to use ur mouse to do actions such as: forward, backward, close tabs and more! For example, u hold right klik and move to bottom and then right. That's the shortcut to close tabs. COOL eh^^

Tab Effect
For those who loves Vista tab effect. This is another tab effects for ur Firefox browser ^^ I dun like it becoz it makes me dizzy when im switching from tabs to tabs @_@.

Translator
Another savior for bananas ops^^ Not only for bananas actually.. u can translate a japanese webpage into english which will be opened in a new window. This translator allows you to translate any web page into nearly any language at the click of a button...

I believe that some of u suffered the slowness and craziness of Internet Explorer. Well... I suffered from IE phobia every time im using it -.- EVERY TIME!!!
Some examples of this problem:
Load itself and websites ASAP! (as SLOW as possible) - Tolerable
Not Stable. Prone to crash - I can create a Don't Send windows anytime. e.g: When i close it.

As tough as a cockroach! Cant be closed normally... IE's spirit will alwiz bug me in my taskmanager.. 真死吾眼闭 Solution: MURDER its process in the taskmanager -.-

Did u hav the similar problem? iexplorer dun wana leave ur task manager? In ur task manager (ctrl+alt+del), select process iexplorer.exe, click End Process and it will be gone forever at least for now -.-
One day, I updated IE7 to IE8 BETA with the help of Bitcomet v1.00 above. (Will be discussed in the near future) Wow its functions are comparable to FireFox or Opera!! COOOOOL at the first look! However, its load time is worst than IE7 zzz Let me giv u a look on it.

It looks similar to IE7 right? But it still contains the weak genes of the IE family... Mayb it is still in BETA so lets giv it a chance when it is complete.

Finally, i found myself 4 new Internet Browsers to use ^^ Waseh y u nid so many IB? Siao ar @_@? Actually, I was motivated to find them during the FaceBooK (add me: yawcheung@hotmail.com) Heroes fever. Well, all of them are better to be used as compared to IE =.= Lets start with the first one!

Maxthon - homepage
Well i think some of u might miss IE and dun wana change ur IB(Internet Browser) Now, u dont need to change IE by enhancing it! Maxthon is not a standalone browser because it merges with IE! It is actually IE with diff interface and better stability! COOOL Eh? I didnt know it until I use it XD Im replacing Maxthon with IE now... It is claimed that if u minimize Maxthon, RAM's memory will be freed!!! Im not sure how true it is but it is written by Maxthon itself. Here's a screenshot of it

Hmm.. I guess alot of u knew tis IB already. It may not startup immediately (mayb i installed too much addons to run in it >.<) but it is great to be used after started. I will write a post on some of its COOL addons in the near future.. Now, let me show some steps to tweak its surfing speed: (1) type about:config on the address bar (the bar where u type website addresses)
(2) type pipe in the filter bar under the address bar (filter bar will only show up after about:config is typed)
(3) set the network.http.pipelining and network.http.pipelining.firstrequest from false to true and network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to number between 20-30 (im using 25). If there is network.http.proxy.pipelining set it to true also.

Opera - homepage
Im using Opera to write my blog ^^. It has the fanciest and highest class interface i guess.. It is not 有姿势，吾实际. It has the speed dial function which allows u to go to the websites u placed in the speed dial button quickly.

Last but no least,
Netscape - Homepage
It is sad to announce that Netscape ended its official support on March 1st, 2008 T_T. It doesnt mean that it has gone chap lap -.- It means no more live updates for it after March 1st. "Tat means chap lap lor noob -.-" Well, they r working with Firefox now... So, i think there will be alot of improvement in FireFox 3 (currently in BETA). U can still use it as ur secondary IB thou^^ Im shocked when i first open Netscape browser. It looks very similar to Firefox, almost the same!

In conclusion, i cant say which IB is the best bla bla bla.. Having diff IB is useful becoz some webpage doesnt allow u to open the same webpage in the same IB so u can open them in another IB XD (This is cheating =.=) All of them are very useful for me since i click a lot of ads in order to earn $$ everyday. They r not clicked under the same IB due to confusion of Tabs >.<
Some shortcuts to play around with Tabs:
Ctrl+T - opens a new tab
Ctrl+Tab - moves from tab to tab
Click your middle mouse button(the scrolling button) on a link - opens a new tab for the link u have clicked(Doesnt work with maxthon)

I only knew this 2 shortcuts and currently learning the shortcut to close a tab. (desperate to know since it is useful to close XXX webpage !!!)

Edited: I did not use Opera browser to earn $$ clicking ads becoz after i clicked an link it doesnt indicates tat i had clicked it or where did i stop clicking. e.g: link clicked doesnt turn from blue to purple(indicates clicked). However, it is still great in surfing the net ^^

Geng ler XD U all muz be wondering y 1 of the components got fried =.= I remember long long time ago after 2 or 3 months i bought this modem... When i was playing Dota in Blueserver, 黑云浓浓，雷电交叉,早上如晚上，晚上如早上 wth? When Im juz finished typing "Hey guys i might leave due to serious lightning. Pls dun ban me!" and "Boom!" I watched blue fireworks from my modem LIVE right infront of me. After that, i was worried that i have to get another modem again T_T no$$ lea.. After the rain ran away killing my modem... I recheck whether is my modem is dead or alive. I replug in everything and "CRAP" kenot online geh? However, i did not giv up coz the light showing ADSL is not dead and seems to be still working.. I tested it directly with my lousy laptop and "w00t" my modem is not dead!! So wat's dead? Me.. ops! My motherboard intergrated LAN network card T_T and my 1st port of the modem/router... Sigh.. SO the moral of the story is.. plug out ur telephone wen lightning is "dancing gracefully" out there...

Ops! I mean streamyx... Last 2 weeks, I noticed that my internet speed is plunging which can be described as "from heaven to hell" while im surfing the net. I ignored it because i tought screamyx is just having some "technical" problem as usual. However, i experienced the speed of light(the snail way) for the next 3 days! So, on Sunday, 4th May 2008 i called Streamyx and told them that my Internet is acting strangely which is very very slow as the Download speed is below 500kbps or worst. .. In the morning of the next day, they sent a techie to my house which is not expected to be so soon coz they r alwiz very slow such as my line. They are not driving Kancil but MyVi already >.<
Firstly, the techie said that he will configure sth at the rocket shaped thingy located in the park near my house. He said that he will call me in order for me to update him with my line speed. I waitied from 11am-2pm -.- and he called... I guess he went to lunch and yam cha during that period. Really guai lan =.= I told him that nth has changed and then he returned to my house around 3pm and he climbed up the electric pole to check my line speed again. After that, he called me to look after his ladder and he will move to somewhere to check my port. After some time, he returned and told me that my area's underground cable "sudah jadi sangat teruk, 'jadi lu punya line sudah takda harapan'(tambah tolok)" Ini tak boleh berlaku ni!! He said that he will change my port to a faster 1 temporarily and will tell streamyx to replace all the devices and the underground cables which i think will not be done at all in the near future XP
Nvm lea at least i get a better bandwidth now haha^^ Damn happy with the current speed... Alot of my frens already got this speed without alot of problems -.- and i used my lousy speed for 2+ years paying the same amount of fees like them which is RM88 -.- I did not complain previously becoz my download speed is staying around 700kbps which is tolerable as according to their speedometer. The minimum we can get is 70% of our package. So this time, 趁他病拿他命 I reported to them with a much speed slower than the minimum speed and now i got this ^^ 真是爽! Now Im has a Download speed of 800kbps+ and i can download upto 160kBps which is doubled compared to the old lousy line...
If you wanna test your speed, please go: http://www.speedtest.net/ and click the golden pyramid which indicates Kuala Lumpur and then the green pyramid indicating Singapore (gives you better speed result but i dont know why -.- KL server lousy gua..) The website gives results in kbps which means kilo bits per second so in order to convert into your normal download speed. U need to divide kbps by 8 to get kBps. e.g: 1200kbps divide 8 = 150kBps which means kilo Bytes per second... If your download speed is below 70% of your package please tell them Dial 100 or else suffer the boredom of waiting a website to load -.-

Why now? Just got a faster bandwidth from screamyx!! i mean streamyx. (Actually i had got it in the past 2 weeks >.< lazy to start until today..)
What's included in this blog? My experiences in the Internet or some chapalang stuffs.. Will not type alot bout my life here.. because.. Readers will be bored to death reading about my life... Haha XD
